Sara Holliday serves as the Worship Director here at Reliance Church. She was born in Long Beach, California, and was raised in the fast-paced culture of city life. Her Polynesian upbringing has instilled a deep appreciation for music, especially vocal harmonies.

In 2011, she attended Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California, where her passion for worship was stirred and where she learned how to use her gifts to glorify the Lord. For several years, Sara worked as the Administrative Assistant to Pastor Rod Thompson and served as a worship leader at Cross Culture, a ministry which merged with Reliance Church in 2018, and thus began Sara’s vocational ministry.

Sara is happily married to her husband, Pastor Russell Holliday, and together, they have a beautiful daughter named Malia. A great reminder of the call to worship, one of her favorite verses is found in Psalm 63:3 “Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You.”
