What Are Community Groups?
AND WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN ONE
Community Groups are small gatherings of people that meet weekly in homes throughout the Temecula, Murrieta, and Menifee valleys. They are designed to help facilitate growth and maturity in Christ through prayer, fellowship, a shared meal, and a conversational Bible study (Acts 2:42). Not only will you meet new people and form new friendships, but attending a Community Group will provide opportunities for you to be edified (1 Thessalonians 5:11), equipped (Ephesians 4:12), and encouraged in the Lord (Hebrews 3:13).
COMMUNITY GROUP DIRECTOR
Wesley Sabio serves as the Community Group Director and Young Adults Facilitator here at Reliance Church. He grew up in Southern California and is the oldest of five boys. Raised in the church, Wesley trusted Christ for salvation at a young age and eventually graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies.
In 2012, he married Brittany and together they have two beautiful daughters, Cana Grace & Mercy Lynn. Wesley is passionate about seeing people grow in their relationship with Jesus and is excited to be part of the work that God is accomplishing through Reliance Church. In his free time, Wesley enjoys playing volleyball, growing houseplants, and eating sushi. He is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and hopes to see them win the Super Bowl at least one more time before the Lord returns!
JOIN THE TEAM
It is our on-going prayer and desire that more and more people get connected with a Reliance Church Community Group. To that end, we are always looking to add to our Community Group Ministry Team. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Community Group Facilitator, Co-Facilitator, or Host Home, please let us know! Thank you for your desire to serve and lead people to better know, love, and serve Jesus!
