Cross Culture Missions Update
The following is an update from Pastor Rod Thompson and Cross Culture Missions, a missionary ministry of Reliance Church:
I have Italian Residency!
This is important because I can now purchase a vehicle in my name. We still have work to do for Zuza’s residency. We must obtain updated copies of our wedding certificate and her birth certificate. We may have to go to Serbia to pick them up or possibly go the Serbian Consulate in Trieste, Italy.
Praise:
- I received Italian residency.
- The girls are doing better as they adjust to life in Budapest. Thanks to our friends Mike and Agi Armor, and Lisa Collins for reaching out to them.
Prayer needs:
- Pray we find a 7-9 passenger vehicle that will be dependable transportation for us and the ministry.
- Pray we can finish the semester well at Calvary Chapel Bible College Italy.
- Continue to pray for the upcoming construction work team to be assembled and final preparations to be made. The team will help the remodeling of the building of Calvary Chapel Montebelluna which will also house the Bible College. The dates will be February 6-16, 2020. It looks like we will have people coming from Reliance Church in Temecula, Grace Community Church in Mariposa, and Calvary Chapel Modesto.
- Please pray for final preparations being made for the upcoming Palawan, Philippine mission trip in which we will facilitate two pastors and leaders conference in order to encourage in and equip them for the work God has called them. The dates are February 17 – March 3, 2020.
- Please continue to pray for God to lead me if and when to go to Nigeria. Every time I try to go something happens to hinder me. Is this Satan hindering me or God shutting the door. Please pray God makes His will clear. I am praying that I can make it in the spring of 2020 in the will of God.
- Pray for upcoming speaking engagements at churches and other conferences:
- November 17, 2019: Feltre, Italy
- December 15, 2019: Freiburg, Germany
- January 10-24, 2020: Visit churches in Serbia
- January 27-31, 2020: Pastors & Elders Conference in Austria
