MISSIONS UPDATE

Hi Everyone,
This month we highlight our missionaries in Papua New Guinea: Steve and Mindy Clover, along with their children, Karah, David and Jonathan.
The Clovers have recently finished their training at the Pacific Orientation Course (POC), and are now at their place of assignment in Ukarumpa, which is in the highlands of Papua New Guinea. In this country, Ukarumpa is the main location supporting the work of Bible translation, literacy, Scripture use and more. Besides serving in the ministry of Bible translation, Karah is helping in the medical clinic as a part time receptionist and will be getting real life experience by going into the villages with the medical team. David and Jonathan are adjusting very well to their new culture and school at Ukarumpa International School. They are making friends very quickly as they have been sincerely received and welcomed by their peers.
The Clovers are asking for your prayers for the following:
- The Holy Spirit to fill us and grant His fruit as we adjust to the challenges of life and ministry here.
- Continuing improvement in our ability to communicate in Tok Pisin.
- God to be glorified in all we say and do, and His kingdom to be advanced.
- God’s direction and wisdom as we begin to explore the many needs and roles here and how we can help.
