Building an Online Community
At Reliance Church, we’ve always had the desire to see people grow in their relationships with each other and with the Lord, and the growth we’ve seen in the last year is truly remarkable. It is something only God could do and we are simply grateful to be a part of it.
Recognizing this growth early on, we determined that it was absolutely necessary for us to strengthen the way we communicate with the church body, as well as strengthen the way the church body communicates with each other.
Our goal was to find a tool that would help us organize this growing ministry, give groups a platform to communicate securely, and make those who are new to Reliance feel like family.
And that’s why today, after over a year of searching and prepping, we’re excited to introduce our new online community, Church Community Builder.
You might be saying, “Well, that’s great, but what exactly is CCB?”
CCB is an amazing tool that will help cultivate and develop strong relationships in your growth groups, bible studies, and classes by giving leaders and members the ability to communicate back and forth with people in their groups. So, the next time a MOPS meeting changes times, or your Growth Group rearranges dinner assignments because someone is sick, or high school worship practice is cancelled because Pastor Kyle got stuck in his jacket again, the leader would simply post an update in their CCB group which will notify every member of that group instantly, rather than relying on email and word-of-mouth communication.
CCB doesn’t stop there; it will give you a single place to manage giving and access your giving statements at your convenience, making year-end taxes that much easier. It will help you easily find upcoming events, studies, and groups that you’re interested in, while providing you with quick access to information about those groups with details on how to join them. We could go on an on about all the awesome features, but we’d rather you experience them first-hand!
CCB is something we’ve been working on for a long time, and we’re excited to roll it out starting today!
