Daughters Of The King

The Daughters of the King study was a huge success!  Girls from grades K-5 learned that, as children of the King, they are little princesses.  In the same way every princess needs a “Knight in Shining Armor” to ride in and save them, we all need Jesus to rescue us from our sin. Jesus is our one true Hero, and only He has the power to save us from sin and death. Jesus will be returning on His white horse to send the beast to hell (Revelation 19:17-21). Until that day, we are “Ladies in Waiting,” patiently waiting for our Hero to

…call us up to be with Him. However, we learned that and we have a lot to work on while we wait. It’s essential to share God’s word with others, serve each other, practice manners and kindness, and learn how to be more like Jesus everyday!

Every week, each princess committed a Scripture verse to memory. After all, a princess’s treasure box is stored deep within her heart, and “the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel” (Proverbs 20:15). We concluded our study by discovering what it means to have a true “Happily Ever After,” as Proverbs 29:18 explains that “happy is he who keeps the law.” God has good plans for His children when we trust and obey Him.  There is much to do as a daughter of the King, and these girls are well on their way!
