VISION STATEMENT

The Marriage Ministry seeks to encourage married couples to pursue a Christ-centered marriage by providing fellowship, worship, and Biblical teaching. We meet together for special events and yearly marriage retreats to spend time with our spouses. As a husband or wife, it is imperative to purposefully dedicate time and attention to the God-given gift of marriage.

At Reliance, we recognize that the Enemy endeavors to sabotage marital intimacy and annihilate the sacredness of wedding vows (NKJV, John 10:10).

Yet, He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. (NKJV, 1 John 4:4)

The Marriage Ministry strives to strengthen marriages, as we learn how to enjoy our spouses the way God intended. By participating in couple’s events, both the husband and wife cultivate a healthier relationship by focusing on the One who created marriage! Psalm 127:1 says,

“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. . .”

thus we embrace that truth in our approach to exhort every marriage to be Christ-centered.

ACCOMPLISHING THE VISION

Growth Groups

September-June

We encourage all married couple to get connected in a Growth Group. Reliance has Growth Groups that meet just about every night of the week in homes throughout the Temecula Valley. This is where you will meet and get to know others who are on this journey of being followers of Jesus Christ. Being in a growth group together is a way to help you stay grounded in God’s Word.

Marriage Studies

Studies that are based solely on focusing on your relationship with your spouse are offered from time to time. Watch the weekly bulletin for the times when these studies are taking place.

Marriage Retreat

November

It’s important for us to take time away with our spouse. It’s said that we invest in that which is important to us. The marriage retreat is a great opportunity to do just that. Join us as we get away to worship, hear from guest speakers, and have a time of fellowship with other believers.

Date Night

Summer

Once a year we invite various Christian artists to lead us in worship. It’s a night where we sit under the stars at a local amphitheater to worship at the feet of Jesus.
