Childrens Ministry

06.02.10  “Sneak Attack for Jesus”…you may have heard the buzz about it, the Children’s Ministry is on a mission to share Jesus’ love with our community!  The children have been challenged to write notes and draw pictures–with Bible verses–to share God’s love in “sneaky” ways so God will get the glory, not the child who did it!  They were asked to leave the notes on shelves at stores, on car windshields, at school, and neighbor’s porches.  We have had reports of a Bible and snacks given to a Muslim family; notes being left at Target, Wal-Mart, car windshields, and bullies’ backpacks as well as a wooden cross with a note, left on the porch of an unsaved neighbor.  The “Sneak Attacks” are also happening at home too…children are “sneaking” to do their siblings’ chores before they have a chance to do them, they are brushing their teeth and getting dressed before their parents ask them, they are making beds, doing dishes, and bringing snacks to bless their parents…to share Jesus’ love!
